Why does the external dependencies filter to work only with SWC files?

I'm starting to automating my Flash Builder project with Gradle.
I noticed that the dependencies doesn't accept ANE files, eg: dependencies { external fileTree(dir: 'ane', include: '*.ane') } fails to include the ANE file as an external dependency, but when I change to get the swc file external fileTree(dir: 'ane', include: '*.swc') } it works.

Why it only accepts SWC files?

    Because we use the following filter in our internal code:

    Collection<File> files = libraryFiles.findAll {
        it.name.endsWith(FlexType.swc.toString()) || it.isDirectory()

    This was done to filter out pom files, but we didn't think about ane files at that moment. So that's something we'll have to change in our internal code.

    Thank you for your promptly response.
    Should I create a new ticket on Github for this issue?
